A Royal Navy one gallon earthenware rum flagon in it's original wicker case. Dating around the 1960's. The wicker case used to protect the contents on board ship. The tradition of giving Royal Navy seamen a tot of rum ended in 1970.  Measures 37cm high x 19cm diameter.
