A unique pottery diver signed by the artist Norman Underhill. Norman was born in Bristol in 1933, ran a car repair workshop and did pottery as a hobby. Soon his earnings from pottery outstripped his car business. He moved from the Mendips in 1973 to the Lizard peninsular and set up his studio in a disused cowshed. His business went from strength to strength. All his figures are unique. He died in 1998.
Norman the diver measures 26.5cm tall and weighs about 800g.
