A bone china Titanic coffee pot in white navy and gold, good condition and marked 1912. Stamped 'Alfred Meakin, England, White star line'

Alfred Meakin made pottery between 1875 and 1904.

His brothers J and G Meakin were well known as the pottery who supplied White Star Line.

Alfred Meakins pottery name was kept until 1976 when it became Myott-Meakin.

This piece could well have been made as a commemorative piece when the Titanic sunk although to date this piece is difficult.
