A Royal Navy dirk post 1902.  Great condition blade etched with crown, GVR cypher, crown over anchor and panels of scrolling foliage. Retailed by Gieves, Matthews and Seagrove Ltd. Wire bound fish skin handle and lions mane back strap, knot ring, swept brass quillons with acorn finials, crowned laurels and fouled anchor badge. Brass bound scabbard engraved to the top with 'H. Hook. RN'. Overall length 61cm.
