A scratch built wooden scale model of the 19th Century RNLI Padstow open lifeboat 'ARAB' on a wooden stand. With rigging, sails, oars, rudder and ropes.
This 34-foot by 8-foot pulling boat was a gift from Mr. R.A.B. Preston. It was known for its service from 1883 until being wrecked in 1900, with pictures showing it being pulled by horses to launching sites.
She stands approx 70cm high x 80cm long.
