Also known as a 'Piece of Eight' from Pirate times where the coins were literally cut into eight pieces for lesser currency.
To the front of the coin the unmistakeable pillars flanking crests and headed by a crown.
The reverse 'FERDIN V11. 1818. DEI GRATIA' - by the grace of God.
