A really stunning scrimshaw on Walrus tusk signed 'Ray Peters 1988'. We would class this as ancient or fossilised walrus tusk with clearly a more modern artist. Depicting a whaleboat to the foreground with sailor at the bow with harpoon ready, whale and whaleship to the background. Measures 14cm x 3.5cm x 2cm.
