No. 391

A Baleen staybusk measuring 35cm x 4cm. Baleen is made out of keratin, the same protein that makes up human fingernails and hair. It is found in the jaws of large whales and used to sieve prey.

This one has depictions of a vase of flowers, flower heads, stars, the initials SP and 1860. With some red colouring to the dots throughout, a triangular border all around and plain to the back.
