A superbly carved Walrus tusk with a harbour side scene to the front and the wording 'The East Indiaman LADY CASTLEREAGH captained by John Seale October 9th 1821' to the reverse.

Showing the ship coming into Port with as lighthouse behind, smaller boats in the bay and various buildings along the shore. Signed J.A. The reverse in a rope twist cartouche with the union jack and ensign to either side. Measures 37cm x 5cm.
