A rare 18th possibly 17th Century Italian carved ivory pedestal sundial compass. It has a silvered compass dial, the margin inscribed in Italian with compass points. With a probably earlier hinged engraved chapter ring signed 'Daniel'. Lacking the gnomon and latitude bar. Measures 7.5cm high x 5cm diameter.
