I have not seen many of these in my 30 years of trading. A whalebone whaling stamp inscribed to the top "FORTUNA 1857". To the underside a sperm whale with a cut out square where they would have written in the amount of barrels of oil gleaned from the whale when stamping the log book. Measures 9.5cm x 3.5cm x 1cm.
