This Tyg or Loving cup is probably one of Copeland's most desired Tygs of the several they did for historic events. This one was done for the Anniversary of the death of Nelson in 1905. It seems that there was a limited edition of 350 of this one and 100 of the Deluxe version, due to demand they did a further run of this one and called them the Subscribers copy. As far as I know all were made special for outlet by the Famous shop Goode's of London. They are fairly rare to come by especially in good condition as this one. It measures 5 inches in diameter by 5.5 inches tall. The colours are magnificent and the detail as good as you will see on any china as one would expect of Spode.
