Quality made French export Navaja folding knife by the French cutlers Bechon Gorce. made between 1889-1911.
The Navaja is a traditional Spanish folding blade fighting and utility knife.
Steel blade in scimitar form 6 1/4" long with age related staining, 14 1/4" long overall. Polished horn scales with foliate design set on a brass frame secured by dome head brass pins and brass bolsters. Locking catch with pull ring. Some scrolled writing to the blade which I can't decipher.
