An early 20th Century walnut dining chair. To the underside of the rear rail is a brass plaque 'H.M.S QUEEN ELIZABETH ADMIRAL'S DINING CABIN 15th-16th NOVEMBER 1918.' With horizontal crest rails, green leather stuff over seat and turned front legs united by an 'H' from stretcher. Measures 90cm high x 47cm across the front legs x 49cm front leg to back leg.

H.M.S Queen Elizabeth was a flag ship of the Grand fleet. It was on board this ship that the surrender terms were dictated to Senior Navy Officers by Admiral Beatty when Senior German naval officers were present.
