A wooden piece from HMS Naiad made by shipwright 'Cartmel' in 1977 as written on the reverse.
The front showing two Naiad plaques and a brass plaque reading 'PRESENTED BY THE OFFICERS OF HMS NAIAD 1977'.
The reverse also has a large brass plaque amusingly reading 'DON'T JUST STAND THERE SORT IT OUT'.
The bottom front has a lip suggesting you could stand a book there, or papers.
Measures 69cm wide x 29cm high x 17cm deep.
