A Pair of 1940's beautifully engineered aluminium German anti aircraft Flak binoculars. 10 x 80 meaning 10 times magnification with 80mm objective lens. Eyepieces set to 45 degrees. Marked DF meaning Doppelfernrohr, or double telescope. Used by German anti-aircraft batteries for spotting aircraft. Polished aluminium throughout. Brass individual adjusting eye focusing and nurled adjusting wheel for separate eye width distance. Left, right, horizontal and vertical lock on movement. With a wooden and metal adjustable stand with leg spreaders attached.
