Only the third one of these we've ever owned after very recently selling the last subscibers one we had in stock. That's why I love antiques, you don't see one for years and then you see two in a couple of weeks!

Known as the subscribers copy of Copeland Spodes' Edwardian Lord Nelsons' death Centenary tyg made in 1905. 350 were originally made and due to demand they re-ran production and called this the subscribers copy. We believe they were made for the outlet T.Goode & Co, South Audley St. London.

Hand painted with exceptional detail showing three separate designs beside each handle, Brittania rules the waves, Hms Victory and  a portrait of Lord Nelson all within cartouches. A different flower atop each handle, signal flags and the saying 'ENGLAND EXPECTS THAT EVERY MAN WILL DO HIS DUTY' within the rim. Stamped to the underside as shown in the images. In fine condition with no visible chips, cracks or losses. Measures 13.5cm high x 13cm diameter.
