I couldn't resist buying this tyg as it was in such good condition.

We usually only buy the Nelson one!

This early 20th Century tyg by Copeland Spode was produced to commemorate British victories of the Transvaal war - the second Boer war.

Hand painted in full colour and gilt it is decorated with three portrait roundels of Queen Victoria, Brittania and the Victories won.

Inside and around the whole rim it lists important names involved in the Boer war.

The handles decorated with a different foliage to each.

Stamped to the underside as shown in the images.

Stands 14cm high x 14cm base diameter.
