A superb brass cannon on a carriage. An inscription on the carriage reads 'PEACE. 1856. TRUST IN PROVIDENCE AND KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY'.  The Crimean war dates were 1853 - 1856 so this dates to that era. The word on the street is that this cannon was fired to mark the end of the war, hence the Peace slogan on it.

The overall measurement is 90cm. Barrel 60cm. Carriage 26cm. Width 13cm. Diameter of Breech 11cm. Muzzle 10cm and Bore 5cm.
