A 19th Century ships teak swivel chair with horse hair seat, just been reupholstered and polished. With a Shamrock motif to the back. Possibly from 'The Shamrock Shipping Company LTD' based in Larne, Northern Ireland from 1897-1976. When the chair was being reupholstered, we found the makers name of Blain & Sons, Liverpool who were fine furniture makers from 1830's to early 1900's. With heavy iron dolphin feet. 
Measures 79cm high, 35cm from seat to floor. 45cm across seat. Arm to arm 55cm. 44cm from seat to top.
