'Faithful Freddie' binnacle

Lovely looking binnacle known as a Faithful Freddie dating from before the 2nd world war. This all brass version being the earlier one as far as I know. Used on Submarines and landing craft. 18" in height, all original parts, compass, dimmer switch, front and back glass covers etc. In collectors terms I am led to believe this is the second best to have after a DENT binnacle but open to debate!
