Five Scrimshaw 15-19

 

Item Notes:

Group of five scrimshaw numbers 15-19 ships and whaling. First picture of the front and second picture of the reverse of the scrimshaw. More detailed photo's of each piece are available upon request.

(15) Top of picture 6", front rowing boat and sperm whale, reverse the wording ' 2 Death of a Spermwhale' £365.  SOLD

(16) Next one down 6", front is some sort of board with holes and the wording 'Ship Gilder' and 'GB' with a picture of Brittania lady, reverse is plain, £385. SOLD SOLD SOLD

(17) Directly below, 5", front is of a ship, rowing boat and whale, reverse is the wording 'THE WHALER HARMONY OF HULL' £195.

(18) To the right, 5" front is of a ship with stores and a scroll with the wording  'HOPE 1867', reverse is plain £320.  SOLD

(19) bottom of picture, nearly 7", front is of a ship in sail, reverse plain £320.  SOLD
